Overview
Dr. Millo Tabin is a Professor and Faculty-in-charge of the Forensic Toxicology and DNA Laboratory at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
He completed his MBBS from JIPMER, Pondicherry University, in 1996 and earned his MD in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology from AIIMS, New Delhi. His academic credentials also include a Diplomate of the National Board in Forensic Medicine, a Master’s degree in Human Rights from Pondicherry University, and a postgraduate certificate course in torture medicine from the IMA AKN Sinha Institute. A fellow of the International Academy of Medical Sciences and a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, he is highly regarded in his field.
After his senior residency, he joined the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology at AIIMS as a faculty member in 2003, where he currently works as a Professor. As a dedicated mentor, he has guided 10 MD and six PhD students.
Dr. Tabin is the author of the book, Analytic Aspects of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology. With approximately 80 research publications in national and international journals, he has also presented 24 scientific papers at various conferences. He holds key editorial roles as the Executive Editor of the Journal of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology and an Assistant Editor of the Journal of Punjab Academy of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology.
Recognised for his expertise, he serves on the panel of forensic experts for the National Human Rights Commission. He has also received letters of appreciation for his professional excellence from the Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the Chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights, and the Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
