Dr. Geeta Chadha

Dr. Geeta Chadha is an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist based in South Delhi, with a clinical career spanning more than four decades. She has worked with leading medical institutions in Delhi, including Safdarjung Hospital, GTB Hospital and University College of Medical Sciences, and Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals. Her practice encompasses women’s healthcare across different stages of life, from pregnancy care and fertility-related concerns to the diagnosis and treatment of gynaecological conditions.

Dr. Chadha completed her MBBS at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, in 1983, followed by an MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the same institution in 1986. Her clinical interests include high-risk obstetrics, infertility, reproductive health, menstrual disorders and minimally invasive gynaecological surgery. She has experience with laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures, as well as abdominal and vaginal surgical approaches.

Her areas of focus include the management of uterine fibroids, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine prolapse and gynaecological cancers. She also has experience in caring for patients with recurrent pregnancy loss, hormonal concerns and complex pregnancies, including cases involving placental disorders. Where clinically appropriate, her interests include organ-preserving approaches for selected benign uterine conditions, with the aim of addressing symptoms while considering the patient’s individual circumstances.

Dr. Chadha’s professional experience includes academic work as a lecturer, hospital-based senior residency and long-term consultant practice. Her work also encompasses reproductive surgery and fertility-related care, including ovulation induction and fertility preservation.
