Dr. Amanjeet Singh is a senior surgical gastroenterologist and colorectal surgeon at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram, where he serves as Vice Chairman and Head of the Division of GI Surgery, GI Oncology and Bariatric Surgery. His surgical practice encompasses advanced minimally invasive procedures involving the abdomen and gastrointestinal tract, with particular expertise in laparoscopic colorectal surgery, robotic surgery, hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal surgery, bariatric procedures, and perianal surgery. He is also recognised for his work in hand-assisted laparoscopic surgery and has developed the cost-effective “Medanta Handport Technique” for this approach.

Dr. Singh completed his MBBS from Medical College, Faridkot, followed by an MS in General Surgery at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana. He subsequently completed super-specialisation in Surgical Gastroenterology at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, where he received the Ravi K Jerath Award for the Best DNB Student of the Year. His further training includes advanced surgical training at AIIMS and a fellowship in laparoscopic colorectal surgery at SMC Korea.
