Dr. Ajit R. Menon

Dr. Ajit R. Menon is an experienced interventional cardiologist based in Mumbai, with a clinical focus on complex coronary interventions and catheter-based cardiac procedures. He has been associated with Lilavati Hospital since 2003 and has performed more than 5,000 coronary interventions. His areas of interest include clinical cardiology, interventional cardiology and complex coronary intervention. His professional experience includes cardiac catheterisation procedures, intra-coronary imaging and advanced catheter-based therapies. Dr. Menon has undertaken overseas training, including a Cardiology Fellowship at Royal Adelaide Hospital in South Australia in 1993. He has also been invited to train cardiologists in complex coronary intervention at Mount Hospital in Perth, Australia, in 2004 and 2006. His academic contributions include participation in clinical trials and research projects, including studies involving coronary stents, exercise and Parkinson’s disease, proximal left anterior descending artery angioplasty, and exercise echocardiography.
